With over 16 years of experience, Michelle Odom is a veteran to the real estate world. Michelle credits her success to her ability to exceed her clients’ expectations in every aspect of the buying and selling process. Clients choose to work with Michelle for her integrity, expertise, and unparalleled work ethic. She’s spent the last seven years working in new construction, doing on-site sales with Royal Oaks Homes in Raleigh.

Her mentors in the world of real estate include the renowned Myers Barnes, Matt Riley, J Van Rose, and Brooke Carroll. But Michelle gives most of the credit to her mother-in-law, Ida Odom, for helping her become an agent in her hometown, forming a special bond with the Johnston County community - building, buying, selling, living and working with locals every day.

Prior to becoming a REALTOR®️, Michelle worked in a prestigious law firm, Kirkland R. Odom, Jr. Attorney at Law. During this time, she gained an insiders’ perspective on how a real estate transaction operates that has proven invaluable throughout the course of her career.

Michelle strongly believes the secret to her success is giving back. As a dedicated member of the Johnston County community, Michelle is passionate about giving back. That’s why she currently donates a portion of her commission to a local animal rescue, RUFF and sponsors the Pasture Pals Equine Rescue Inc, located right here in Clayton. Additionally, Michelle jump-started the Johnston County Chapter of "Operation Turkey", a nonprofit that provides local families with a full Thanksgiving meal. 

When she’s not busy helping her clients achieve their goals, Michelle is most likely spending time with her nieces and nephews, Haiden, Payton, Colby, Jackson, or her adorable fur baby CoCo. Outside of real estate, Michelle’s favorite pastimes include going fishing out on the boat or the coastline, kayaking around Bald Head Island, or hiking through the trails of the Great Smoky Mountains.
